Obiettivi formativi

The course intends to provide a framework for analyzing and understanding in historical perspective the key European issues facing international law and policy.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi

The students will be trained in investigating the conceptual and empirical approaches to many topics which sometimes lie outside the traditional domain of the discipline

Modalità di insegnamento

The course will be strongly based on class participation,being seminarial in its essence. Lectures will be followed by presentations held by students on the reading materials of the course that will be provided.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

Final assessment will be based on these two elements, complemented by a short final paper

Attività di supporto

 Italian and Foreign Lecturers will be invited  to discuss some peculiar aspects of the European Law History
