Obiettivi formativi

There are two types of lettorato: the lettorato for LET and the Intermediate lettorato.

The lettorato for LET is designed for students who want to prepare for the Legal English Test (LET) which is worth 3 language credits. The course aims to improve participants' ability to read English texts relating to specific areas of law.

Information about the Intermediate lettorato (3 credits for "altra attività) in the 2nd semester will be posted subsequently.

Participants will focus on learning some fundamental legal and general terms, understanding aspects of grammar and syntax, and applying key reading skills and strategies, all required for LET.

Non-intensive LET courses (1 lesson a week) are held in the 1st semester, in the 2nd semester, and in May/June. Intensive LET courses (20 hours in 1 week) are generally held in January or in February, and/or in September.

3 language credits are obtained by passing the Legal English Test (LET). LET exam sessions are held in December, February, May, July and September (enrolment through Tarm).
