Additional Take-home Exam on Module I on the 20th of April 2022
Dear Students,
in order to better meet the needs of students, the decision has been taken to schedule an additional take-home exam on the 20th of April 2020. This additional take-home exam will only contain two questions about the contents of Module I, which means that the students who receive a positive grade, will still have to pass the take-home exam on Module II too, so as to have the final grade registered as an average of the two partial results. You may find in a separate Announcement (Avviso) the schedule of the mandatory take-home exams (each time 10 days before the “official” exam date as announced on the platform of Unito). The mandatory take-home exams that are scheduled 10 days before the “official” exam dates are open for all those students who did not take the additional take-home exam on Module I on the 20th of April 2022 or did not pass it (and have therefore to take the exam of both Modules), as well as for all those who took the additional take-home exam and passed it, but have still to take the exam on Module II.
To take the additional take-home exam on the 20th of April 2022, it is necessary to enrol on the website of the course unit on CampusNet by clicking the right date under Appelli.
The additional take-home exam on the 20th of April 2022 will be organized as follows. At midnight (12 am Turin time) on the day of the additional take-home exam, an Announcement (Avviso) will be posted on the website of the course unit. The announcement will contain two open questions on the contents of Module I. The answers should be sent by email (only one email for both questions, with name and student registration number/matricola) to dellavalle.affiliate@mpil.de until 11:00 pm of the same day. The dimension of the answers, taken together, shall not exceed 800 words; all texts that exceed that dimension or are sent after the deadline will not be evaluated.
The results of the additional take-home exam will be uploaded as soon as possible as an Announcement (Avviso) on the website of the course unit on CampusNet. Students will be informed when the results are posted.
Since this exam is in addition to the usual ones, an additional rule applies: the grade cannot be simply rejected, but will count as half of the partial grade of Module I in case that students decide to take a resit exam.
Best regards
