Obiettivi formativi

Il corso ha l'obiettivo di analizzare i profondi cambiamenti avvenuti nei mercati e nelle imprese negli ultimi 20 anni, e le strategie per affrontarli. Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata all'innovazione, alle nuove strategie d'impresa ed agli strumenti di finanza innovativa (venture capital, crowdfunding, ecc.).

The course aims to analyze the profound changes occurring in the markets and businesses over the past 20 years, and the strategies to address them. Particular attention will be paid to innovation, new firm strategies and tools for financing innovation (venture capital, crowdfunding, etc.).

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi

Gli studenti avranno una visione chiara della competizione internazionale tra i vari tipi di imprese e tecnologie e delle strategie utilizzate per competere ed innovare. Saranno fatti partecipi della discussione a livello italiano sulle riforme strutturali del sistema produttivo. Gli studenti avranno inoltre la possibilità di usufruire di attività complementari, come la partecipazione a workshop e seminari su temi legati all'impresa. Al termine del corso verranno forniti agli studenti gli strumenti per applicare, aggiornare e approfondire i contenuti studiati, anche in contesti professionali, e per intraprendere ulteriori percorsi di approfondimento.

 

Students will have a clear view of the international competition between the various types of businesses and technologies and strategies used to compete and innovate. They will become participants in the discussion at the Italian on structural reforms of the production system. The course also provides the opportunity to take advantage of complementary activities, such as participation to seminars and workshops linked to enterprise and management studies. At the end of the course will be provided to the students the tools for applying, update and deepen the contents studied, even in professional contexts, and to undertake further studies.

Modalità di insegnamento

L'Insegnamento nella parte generale è strutturato in 36 ore di didattica frontale in presenza e materiali online. 

La frequenza è facoltativa, consigliata, e la prova finale sarà uguale per frequentanti e non.

N.B. per gli studenti che dovranno sostenere l'esame da 9 CFU (parte del prof. Varrasi)

la lezione del 3.11 si terrà in modalità webex, con orario di inizio alle 16.15, al seguente link: https://unito.webex.com/unito/j.php?MTID=m344995cd55ee37568bced66f344bcfd1 ;

-per le ulteriori lezioni riceverete dettagli durante la lezione del 3.11. Le date a oggi previste sono: 17.11 ore 16; 23.11 ore 16; 30.11 ore 16.

Gli studenti che frequenteranno le lezioni, dovranno redigere un breve paper (maggiori dettagli a lezione) e non dovranno sostenere l'esame su questa parte. Il voto del paper andrà a fare "media" (per 1/3) con il voto della parte del Prof. Peirone (2/3).

Per gli studenti che non intendono frequentare le lezioni relative ai 3 CFU, dovranno sostenere nell'esame del Prof. Peirone una ulteriore parte, sempre quiz a riposta multipla, sul seguente testo: Singer, Siriani, La corporate governance, Giappichelli, 2018 (220 pagg): http://old.giappichelli.it/la-corporate-governance,9210250

 

The course in the general part is structured in 36 hours of frontal lectures, divided into 20 lessons of 2 hours. The frontal teaching consists of theoretical lessons and seminars held by business experts on the topics discussed.

The frequency is optional, recommended, and the final exam will be the same for attendants and not.

N.B. for students who will have to take the 9 CFU exam (part of prof. Varrasi)

-for further lessons you will receive details during the lesson on 3.11. The dates scheduled to date are: 17.11 at 16; 23.11 at 16; 30.11 at 4pm.

Students who attend the lessons will have to write a short paper (more details in class) and will not have to take the exam on this part. The grade of the paper will be "averaged" (1/3) with the grade of Prof. Peirone's part (2/3).

For students who do not intend to attend the lessons relating to the 3 CFU, they will have to take a further part in Prof. Peirone's exam, again a multiple-choice quiz, on the following text: Singer, Syriani, La corporate governance, Giappichelli, 2018 (220 pagg): http://old.giappichelli.it/la-corporate-governance,9210250

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento

L'esame consisterà in un quiz a Risposta Multipla basato sul testo indicato e sul materiale didattico caricato dal docente sulla piattaforma Moodle.

L’accesso all’esame è subordinato alla previa iscrizione all’apposito appello sul sistema ESSE3.

The exam will consist in a quiz with multiple choice answers, based upon the textbook and the didactic material uploaded on the Moodle platform.

Access to the exam is subject to prior registration in the appropriate session on the ESSE3 system.
