Obiettivi formativi
Il corso ha l'obiettivo di analizzare i profondi cambiamenti avvenuti nei mercati e nelle imprese negli ultimi 20 anni, e le strategie per affrontarli. Particolare attenzione sarà dedicata all'innovazione, alle nuove strategie d'impresa ed agli strumenti di finanza innovativa (venture capital, crowdfunding, ecc.).
The course aims to analyze the profound changes occurring in the markets and businesses over the past 20 years, and the strategies to address them. Particular attention will be paid to innovation, new firm strategies and tools for financing innovation (venture capital, crowdfunding, etc.).

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi
Gli studenti avranno una visione chiara della competizione internazionale tra i vari tipi di imprese e tecnologie e delle strategie utilizzate per competere ed innovare. Saranno fatti partecipi della discussione a livello italiano sulle riforme strutturali del sistema produttivo. Gli studenti avranno inoltre la possibilità di usufruire di attività complementari, come la partecipazione al laboratorio di Startup Creation con il riconoscimento di crediti formativi.
Students will have a clear view of the international competition between the various types of businesses and technologies and strategies used to compete and innovate. They will become participants in the discussion at the Italian on structural reforms of the production system. The course also provides the opportunity to take advantage of complementary activities, such as participation in the Startup Creation Lab. At the end of the course will be provided to the students the tools for applying, update and deepen the contents studied, even in professional contexts, and to undertake further studies.

L'Insegnamento è strutturato in 40 ore di didattica frontale in presenza e materiali online.
La frequenza è facoltativa, consigliata, e la prova finale sarà uguale per frequentanti e non.
Premialità sul punteggio d'esame saranno previste a discrezione del docente per gli studenti che interverranno ad eventuali lezioni tenute dagli esperti, producendo relazioni scritte su tali contenuti.
N.B. Gentili studenti, di seguito le date delle lezioni del prof. Varrasi per coloro che portano il programma da 9 cfu. Altre ore di lezione saranno comunicate direttamente al docente.

The course is structured in 40 hours of frontal lectures, divided into 20 lessons of 2 hours. The frontal teaching consists of theoretical lessons and seminars held by business experts on the topics discussed.
The frequency is optional, recommended, and the final exam will be the same for attendants and not.
Premium points for the exam score will be provided at the discretion of the teacher for students who will attend seminars held by the experts, realizing written papers on these topics.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
L'esame consisterà in un quiz a Risposta Multipla basato sul testo indicato e sul materiale didattico caricato dal docente sulla piattaforma Moodle.
L’accesso all’esame è subordinato alla previa iscrizione all’apposito appello sul sistema ESSE3.
La commissione sarà composta dai proff. Peirone e Varrasi.
The exam will consist in a quiz with multiple choice answers, based upon the textbook and the didactic material uploaded on the Moodle platform.
Access to the exam is subject to prior registration in the appropriate session on the ESSE3 system.
