The course aims to analyze the profound changes occurring in the markets and businesses over the past 20 years, and the strategies to address them. Particular attention will be paid to innovation, new firm strategies and tools for financing innovation (venture capital, crowdfunding, etc.).

Students will have a clear view of the international competition between the various types of businesses and technologies and strategies used to compete and innovate. They will become participants in the discussion at the Italian on structural reforms of the production system. The course also provides the opportunity to take advantage of complementary activities, such as participation in the Startup Creation Lab. At the end of the course will be provided to the students the tools for applying, update and deepen the contents studied, even in professional contexts, and to undertake further studies.

The course is structured in 40 hours of frontal lectures, divided into 20 lessons of 2 hours. The frontal teaching consists of theoretical lessons and seminars held by business experts on the topics discussed.
Due to the situation connected to Covid19, the lessons will be in blended mode, consisting of lessons and online activities both live and available on the site, with moments of direct interaction between the students and with the teacher through the digital platforms.
