Principles of Constitutional Law - Module II - New take-home exam

Pubblicato: Giovedì 18 giugno 2020 da Riccardo Perona

Dear Students,

I am sending this email with reference to the new take-home exam, to give you some detailed and definitive information:
  • the next take-home exam will take place on Friday, June 26;
  • the possibility to take the exam will be limited to those students that presented a final version of their essay and, as of today, June 19, have been notified of a rejection of their work. In this regard, please note the following: (i) many of you have been writing to me asking whether you may take the exam instead of ever sending me an essay to be evaluated: unfortunately, this is not possible, given that those of you that were not considering choosing the essay, should have taken the take-home exam on May 15; the possibility of June 26 is therefore exceptional and reserved to those of you that actually sent me an essay already, but got a rejection; (ii) up until now, I have evaluated all essays sent until June 10 (that was the deadline for receiving an evaluation for the "appello" on June 25); for those of you that have sent me essays after that day and those of you that will send other works for the next "appelli": I hope none of you will get a rejection, however, should it happen, we will think about how to address the issue in due time;
  • the procedure of the take-home exam on June 26 will be exactly the same already adopted for the exam on May 15, namely: (i) the exam will consist of a series of questions, both multiple-choice and short-answer; (ii) the questions will be presented in an online form (using Google Forms); you will be able to access the form only by using your institutional UniTo Gmail account (@edu.unito.it); (iii) at midnight (12 am) on 26 June 2020 you will receive an email with the link to the form; the link will be also posted under "Avvisi" on Campusnet; click on the link and access the form using your UniTo account as indicated above; complete your quiz and click on "submit" ("invia") to complete your exam; (iv) you should complete all the questions in 1 hour maximum; latest hour of submission is set at 9 p.m. on 26 May 2020; any submission after 9 p.m. will not be considered; you will be able to submit your answers just one time so choose them carefully before submission; (v) the result of the exam can not be rejected
  • please note that all the students registered on Campusnet will receive the link, as it will be sent via an automatic email service. However, as mentioned before, only those students that presented a final version of their essay and as of today got a rejection will be allowed to take the exam, while any submission by students in a different situation will not be considered. Also, you will not be asked to enroll or register for the take-home exam: if you are one of the students allowed to take it, just click on the link that you will receive and answer all the questions.

Best,

Riccardo Perona
