Previous research topics were chiefly focussed on the trial in the last period of the Roman Empire (with particular reference to the judiciary) and on postliminium

Ricevimento studenti

Durante il secondo semestre l'orario di ricevimento verrà comunicato volta per volta.
Qualora una settimana risultasse priva dell'indicazione dell'orario di ricevimento, la popolazione studentesca potrà inviare una email al docente INDICANDO NELL'OGGETTO DELLA STESSA 'RICHIESTA DI RICEVIMENTO' e verrà concordato un ricevimento, in presenza o a distanza. Si ribadisce che il docente non darà seguito a richieste di chiarimenti avanzate a distanza.
Dal momento che il docente non insegna in corsi di laurea a distanza, si prega di osservare che egli non risponde a email delle studentesse e degli studenti, che sono gentilmente pregati di porre le loro questioni all'orario di ricevimento, al termine delle lezioni o in sede di esami. Questo vale anche per le richieste di tesi di laurea e di lettere di presentazione, che vanno avanzate esclusivamente in persona.
During the spring semester office hours will be published timely.
In case a week should be without office hours, students are allowed to send the teacher an email WHOSE OBJECT SHALL BE 'REQUEST FOR OFFICE HOURS'. Office hours, at the campus or on line, will be consequently agreed. Once again the teacher underlines that he won't answer to requests from students submitted per email.
Please note that, since the teacher does not give online classes, he does not reply to emails from students, who are kindly required to ask their questions along office hours, at the end of lessons or during exams.
This applies also to thesis requests as well as to recommendation letters, which must be submitted solely face to face.
