Under the agreement between the Department of Law of the University of Turin and the Faculty of Law of the Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara, students of the Department of Law will be able to carry out their third and fourth year of studies at the Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara with an integrated curriculum.
At the end of the program students will obtain 4 qualifications:
- Global Law and Transnational Studies (L-14) - UniTo
- European Legal Studies (LM-90) - UniTo
- Drept European și Internațional / European and International Law - UVT
- European Union Law - UVT
The Program aims at building skills needed to perform technical or professional roles defined in various fields both at national (Romanian and Italian), European and international level. The graduates will also be ready to perform legal advisory duties for companies, banks, and service companies, as well as to operate within the legal divisions of large multinational organizations, NGOs, public administrations and, as an analyst, in research institutes and think tanks.
Participation in the international programme is based on an integrated study plan, which, unlike other forms of mobility, has been approved in advance by both partner universities, to enable all participants to follow the same higher education course. The integrated study plan also makes it possible for students to complete their university studies on time, through the agreed recognition of credits for all activities carried out at the partner location.
A maximum of 10 students from the Law Department of UniTo and 10 students from Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara are admitted to the programme.
Candidates will apply to a dedicated Call during their first year of studies and will undergo a face-to-face interview to assess their language skills and eligibility for the course.
The criteria used for selection are based on the university curriculum, language knowledge and skills and motivation.
To be eligible for the program students must give evidence of good linguistic skills (mastery of both Romanian and English languages) and an average grade of at least 26/30.
The winning students will receive the mobility grant provided within the Erasmus Mobility Call for Studies.
Interested candidates enrolled in the second year of Global Law and Transnational Legal Studies (L-14) must apply via the Erasmus Mobility Call for Studies.
During the second year of mobility an Erasmus grant will be assigned to the students already selected and in line with the programme.
