Obiettivi formativi
The course aims at analysing basic principles of private law and in particular, property law, tort law, contract law and the new trends emerging in a globalized and pluralistic society.
The course lectures will be based on a comparative approach, taking into consideration the historical evolution of private law institutions in both the civil law and the common law tradition.

Students of Principles of Private Law must enroll in the Moodle page of the course where they will find mandatory materials supporting the course.

MODALITIES OF THE EXAMINATION:
The exam consists of a written and an oral part covering all the contents of the programme.
Only students who pass the written exam will be admitted to the oral exam.- The written test consists of 21 multiple-choice questions. You have 20 minutes to answer the questions. The pass mark is 12/20. There are no negative marks for wrong, no or more than one answer.
Both the written and oral tests are based on the entire programme.FINAL SCORE:
The final score is the score obtained in the oral examination (not an average of the two scores), taking into account the score obtained in the written examination.
